Poetry- A Daughter's Plea
Mother, here now proud I sit;
Your face betrays your heart.
My decision known,
Broke I, this home,
Your reprieve I now impart.
Mother, of me think fondly.
Recall long days of childhood past;
None scorned your choice,
Kept you your voice,
Now your discretion has so held fast.
My mother, I ask for naught but time;
Please time I need to show
He treats me kind
A gentle mind,
Oh, Mother, you'd love him I know.
Just dropping by to say "hello" dear. I'm kinda hyper, I saw Star Wars for the fifth time last night. :insane grin: Can't get enough of that Skywalker and Kenobi humour.
